I feel (most days) like the most blessed person on earth. I have enjoyed a wonderful and fulfilling career. Bob Buford, in his book, Halftime inspires people (inspires me) to consider ways to use the "2nd half" of their life to find ways to leave a lasting legacy and give more toward the greater good of society
My original launch letter, dated January 1, 2014, explained my desire to change my approach to relationships so that people would absolutely know that I am there to be a resource to them. Not that I have everything figured out, but simply that I care. We all have times of struggle in our lives, and we need people we can lean on to help us through those times. I have that privilege of knowing I have people who will hold me up when I can't stand alone. I hope I can be a resource to others. What that looks like is totally up to God, in his timing and providence.
At a very early age, I was given the gift of a basic knowledge of the Christian faith, and a basic understanding of what the Bible teaches. Now, looking back on 50+ years of life experiences, joys, sorrows, pains, struggles, loss, victories and blessings, I believe I am called to "live out" my faith without pushing any religious agenda on anyone. So I don't. I desire to meet people where they are, and if they want to ask me a question about anything spiritual, I am here. I am here first to be a friend, but I am happy to be a mentor, a coach, or a pastor as needed. In this way, I hope to honor Jesus Christ and model His way of loving people without judgment or pretense or agenda.
The files posted here are intended to offer a deeper understanding about who I am and aspire to be. These will give greater insights into why the development of this website has meant so much to me, and what my heart is for treating this as my MINISTRY. Included are my original "launch letter," and some of my personal journal entries and other writings.
